Krone in Friedrichshafen

Today we ordered takeaway food and are enthusiastic about the delicious dishes (pumpkin curry, crown pots and croquettes) as well as the friendly service. We look forward to being able to come back soon.

Great. Ordered food by phone in lockdown, ready on time, great. As a starter, a slightly spicy Thai soup with prawns (€ 4.80) with a very pleasant sharpness and taste. The main course is the vegetarian Bergtöpfle (€ 10.80) spinach spaetzle with leek cream and mountain cheese gratin, also really tasty. The 2nd main course Pumpkin gnocchi and beetroot ravioli (€ 12.50) in walnut butter (if you wish, allergy-free, without walnuts) worked great and tasted delicious. There were also fresh salads for both main courses. Finally one Christmas dessert plate with marzipan-poppy-seed creme-brülee, gingerbread tart and orange ragout (4.90 €) Really fine. And best of all, everything is fresh, self-cooked and in compostable packaging. Exemplary. We'll definitely be back in lockdown. Thank you

A very nice, cozy and high quality restaurant in Raderach between Markdorf and FN. Home cooking prepared with love and absolutely delicious. The great staff, the good cuisine and the cosiness let us relax for a few hours. We keep coming back to Getne and warmly recommend it🍀🙏🍁

Gigantic, phenomenal, unique and and and ...... That is the description, just for the beer garden. Claims my friend Chris. Now it is so that I am reluctant to agree. But in that case? It's just true. It is the same with the dishes on offer. Delicious, plentiful and at reasonable prices. It couldn't be better. P.S. I would like to note that otherwise I can almost always make a small criticism. But here and now I have to pass. Well, he should be right sometimes!

The restaurant and hotel can be recommended without reservation. The hospitality was good and you immediately felt comfortable. The rooms are modern and inexpensive. The friendliness of the staff would be positive at this point.

Again everything was delicious. This holiday for the first time also here in the hotel. Very nice room with a balcony. The picture shows the sauerbraten with chanterelles from the current weekly menu.

We were there today, eat great. It was asked several times whether everything fits and whether you want a lookup. When it came to the size of the portion, we all said no with thanks. A little less great is that there is not enough parking space, but that’s why we’re not giving a bad rating. We would love to come back. And we are happy to recommend it to others!

Great view in the beer garden. In the inn itself, rather dull and simple furnishings. The food is what you would expect for an inn - good, hearty and sufficient.

We were here for dinner. Not exactly located on a main road, we would not have come without the recommendation of a local. Parking available at the house. Very nice service. There was not much going on tonight. We had free space and were served very quickly. You sit nicely with plenty of space. We shared the Flädlesuppe for two - no problem at all. Was hot and good. And good that we have divided the soup, because the Allgäu cream and the fish dishes were decent portions. Both very tasty. We recommend.

Friendly family run hotel with restaurant. Refurbished in 2017.

Very good restaurant with typical German dishes. Price is fair for the quality and quantity. Buildind is a pretty and nice guesthouse located in a hill with view to the lake. Hint: it is good to make a reservation because the place is very often full.

On one of the hottest July days we showed up shortly after 5 p.m. and were rewarded with an empty parking lot and cool biergarten shaded by six old chestnut trees. We orderd quickly, and the food and drink came promptly, accompanied by friendly attentive staff. An hour and a half later, the place was full (we counted at least 48 guests), and more were coming. Families with busy small children, or couples with well-behaved dogs are also welcome. There were many vegetarian options on the daily menu, with homemade "Spätzle" noodles. There was some chopped "Eisbergsalat" (head lettuce) in the side salad - I prefer a deep green colourful mix of different leaf lettuce, and it was a bit too vinegary for my taste. The medium steak was done medium (lightly bloody) as ordered, and the other guests smiling and friendly. Take note of the times the kitchen is open. Otherwise, there are cold meals and drinks available, with the breath-taking view. Parking is tight, and right inside the door is a sign addressing the problem, helpfully offering suggestions. Come with your bike and tip a Radler for your effort! This place seems to be one of those local secrets. We'd suggest coming early, or reserving ahead of time, especially if your group is larger than four guests.
